Beat the Brownlees

We definitely have some future triathletes in the making. The organisers were SO impressed with our effort and determination!

RE- church visit

We visited the church to learn about baptism in the Christian religion.

Adding 3 1-digit numbers

We worked in groups of 3 to add 3 1-digit numbers using tens frames

Creating art using natural materials
Science- materials

We carried out an investigation to see which materials were most absorbent. Some of us were so confident in our predictions that we dared to hold the cup of water over our heads to prove that our predicted material was the most absorbent. The following week we were investigating which material would be most suitable for a toddler's trousers. We rubbed the materials on the floor to record how many times this could happen before the material became damaged.

Our Victorian Immersive Day

We imagined we were in a Victorian school and learnt about some of the harsh punishments if children were naughty, we were given a Victorian name and participated in Victorian drill. We made and played with some Victorian games, completed some decoupage and made and ate a Victoria Sponge- YUM!
