Topic
Our topic for this half term is explorers, we will be learning about what exploration, why people might explore, challenges that are faced and exploration through the ages. We will be learning about significant explorers such as Neil Armstrong and Christistopher Columbus. We will be using narratives and non-fiction texts based around exploration to inspire our writing. 

Maths
In maths we will be learning about fractions, time, statistics, postion and direction.

PSHE
During our PSHE lessons we will be learning about relationships and health education- our PSHE lead, Mrs Thomas is happy to meet with parents if you have any questions or queries.

Science
We will be continuing to learn about living things and theor habitats and will be starting our new topic about plants. 

 
Immersive Learning Day

We had so much fun learning about our new topic. We created treasure maps, made and flew rockets and we completed some lovely art activities.
