Learning in Spring Term

This term, our topic is Exploring Europe.

We will be learning about the different countries in Europe, exploring a range of cultures and traditions. We will be completing a range of map work activities and become familiar with phrases such as biomes, flora, fauna and tropics.

English
We will develop narrative writing based on Michael Morpurgo's, Toro, Toro! We will also be developing a year 4 recipe book based on the foods which are enjoyed across Europe.
Maths
The children will be focusing on multiplication and division at the start of the term. We will then continue onto learning about area and perimeter. Later in the term, the children will explore fractions and decimals.
Science 
The children will be learning about Living Things and their Habitats.
P.E
P.E continues to be on a Monday, with swimming on a Friday.
