Year 2 had a visit from the food company Birds Eye, they talked to the children about their different job roles. The children then worked in small groups to look at what makes a balanced meal.
The children took on the role of a Victorian child, they chanted their times tables, took part in drills, ate gruel, sang the National Anthem and walked with a book on their heads! In the afternoon we made some tractional Victorian toys.
