The whole school enjoyed learning about different countries. We were very fortunate to have so many parents give up their time to attend our Shared Heritage Day. The children had a wonderful time.

We were lucky to be visited by David Monck from St Paul's church. Years 5 and 6 enjoyed the visit.

Thank you for all your contributions to the Harvest Festival. The house team with the most contributions was Oak!

In year 1 we are learning about special books for different religions. Mrs P brought in her copy of the Qur'an that she has at home. Her copy is the one that she used to take to school when she was learning Arabic. We were very interested to learn that you had to read it from the back because Arabic is written on a page from the right to the left.

The children are learning about celebrations this term and they were visited by Reverend Monck to find out about Christmas celebrations.

Year 4 have been learning about the festival of light, and had a visitor in year 4. They learnt all about Diwali and saw some brilliant creations linked to the celebration. They then created their own Diwali artwork.

Year 3 visited a synagogue.

To mark the start of Ramadan, Aleena kindly baked biscuits for her class.
