In English Year 3 have been learning about the Egyptian myth of Osiris and Isis. We have reenacted the myth in groups using actions.

This Friday year 3 have been completing lots of challenges and games that don't involve using a computer. We made lego sculptures, built a reading den, made and decorated fairy buns, built an obstacle course and made musical instruments.

In Science we have been learning about plants. Pupils have recorded their own TV show telling us all about the parts and the functions of plants. Enjoy watching!

Here are some of the amazing pieces of work some of the children have done whilst learning from home. I hope you are just as impressed as we are. Keep up the great work Year 3!

Well done to everyone who has participated in the weekly challenges at home! Keep sending in your pictures. The challenges so far have been: 1.) To tidy somewhere in the house. 2.) To help cook a meal. 3.) To make a sculpture out of items in the house. 4.) To learn to tie my shoelaces. 5.) To do something nice for somebody.

Year 3 spent the day learning about the Egyptians. We made headdresses, wrote our names in hieroglyphics and learnt an Egyptian dance!
