At Ireland Wood Primary School, we follow the Read Write Inc literacy programme, to ensure every child is a successful reader. Phonics lessons are taught on a daily basis and are both fun and multi-sensory, to appeal to the different learning styles of our children. Please follow our progress in Reception, as we begin our learning journey.

Our First Few Weeks In Reception! The children have had a fantastic few weeks exploring their new classroom environment , both indoors and outdoors.
We are very proud of all the children and how they have settled into their new school routine.
Investors In PupilsAs children have settled into Reception classes this week, we have established our class vision and how we would like our classroom to be. We have also made teacher and pupil promises, which we have all signed.
