Welcome to Year 5! 
 

Transition to Year 5

The Year 5 classrooms are situated in the new part of the building, down the stairs from the Year 4 classrooms. Children will enter/leave from the doors at the bottom of the new build or the class fire exit to the side of the building. This is near the entrance into school, and the ramp leading onto the playground. 

5G will enter through the Lower Doors and 5P will enter through the 5P Class Door.
Start Time: 8.50am             Home Time: 3.10pm

The Year 5 class teachers will be Mrs Georgeson and Miss Pliener. 

Your child will be set regular homework. We ask you to support your child and return the work to school. The children are expected to read three times a week at home. Please record your child's reading in their reading diary. They also have a weekly spelling test. We encourage the children to take part in #IWPSlittlethings.
