Today, you must red-pen edit and refine your writing. This is very likely to be your last EVER piece of Y6 writing - does it showcase all you have learned this year and others? Is it a final piece of Y6 writing to be proud of? Is it something we could share with your high school to show them how amazing you are? Please try to make it all of the above today...remember ALL of the Y6 grammar you have learned and the power of great vocabulary choices. I'd love to see your final piece of writing EVER...so please send them in to me :-)
This is a really topical issue and I'd absolutely LOVE for some of you 'home-learners' to have a really good go at this. You'll need to submit your entry online but I'd really like to read your efforts too so please send over what you have done!! It's a brilliant opportunity to get those minds working creatively but also for a very important cause.

Hey Y6 - a change to our English this week and hurrrayyy, it should be great. We are launching our new novel, 'Who Let The Gods Out' by Maz Evans which links to our Ancient Greek topic. Hopefully it will be a welcome change for you all and you'll really get stuck into it. Feel free to look it up online or get your own copy if you'd like to but we will be recording the chapters you need each day so don't forget to listen to that before you start the tasks! Enjoy :-)

Here is a copy of the book list we have sent home with everyone....just in case you may have lost yours! (Yes, you!) It does not mean you have to read all 100, obviously, but this list shows you of the quality and standard of reading we are expecting for you by the end of Y6.
You could print this out, or fill it out and save. Or....you could create your own way to review a book. Maybe a letter? A poster? Or your own version of a review sheet?
