Did you know that Picasso's first word was "lapiz"? This means pencil in Spanish. His father stopped painting when Picasso was 13 because he thought his son was already a much better painter than him. We hope you like our self portraits.

In Art we have been learning about Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky was a Russian artist who painted in shapes. We used pencils to draw and then made a 3D sculpture of concentric circles. Do you like our wonderful art?

In Science we discovered how important trees are to keep our planet healthy. We then sketched and labelled a tree. Did you know that trees produce the oxygen that we breathe?

Today we looked at wild and common flowers. We explored our lovely school grounds and found lots of flowers that we could identify. What flowers can you find?
