A little message from us to you, have a lovely summer. A big well done to you all 😀

Hopefully the last 3 days of distance learning! I just want to say a huge well done to you all for your hard work during lockdown. It has been amazing to see how mature you have all been. The work you have sent us has been amazing. Another huge thank you needs to go out to your parents, who have done an amazing job of becomming your teachers! Work hard for the final few days and enjoy your summer break. It is such a shame we only got to teach you for such a short time this year but we know you will all impress your teachers so much in Year 4!

Expectations 

We are expecting you to complete some Maths and an English Reading/Writing session daily which you can find attached each week.

Reading

Please continue to read your book daily and complete one of the reading tasks.

Writing

There is a SPAG and a writing task to complete each week.

Spelling

Spellings need to be learnt over the week and then tested.

Maths:

Each week there will be an arithmetic, problem solving and three maths lessons to complete. These are things that we have already learnt and you should just be deepening your understanding.

Happy Monday Year 3! Welcome back to Summer 2. 

We hope that you had a lovely break and enjoyed the beautiful weather (for a change)! I feel like I've been on holiday lounging around in my garden getting a tan! Hope you've all enjoyed it as much as I have! 

How did it get to June already? Now it's time to get back to business with what is the final term of the year. Crazy isn't it?!! You must all be experts at this distance learning by now?! You're doing such a brilliant job and it's amazing to see all your brilliant work so please keep sending it to use via email.

We will be continuing to use BBC Bitesize for Maths this week and you will find the lessons posted on the Maths page each day. Follow the links and there will be videos to support you. There will also be challenge sheets posted each day on the Maths page.  This week you will be completing work on fractions. 
We would also like you to start doing an Early bird Maths for 15 minutes each day, just like you would at school.

Hello Everyone, 

Happy Holidays! I hope you are all well. We are missing you all lots and the routine of school. We hope you have managed to complete some of the work we have set for you and are enjoying a well deserved break over Easter. 

This Easter will be a bit of a different one for you but I hope you are  having fun with your family and getting some fresh air. I've spent lots of time drawing, colouring and walking the dog. If you've done anything amazing that you would like to share with us don't forget you can post a picture on our school twitter page and we are looking out for them!
