Hello everyone! As we were closed yesterday, and as there are a large number of absences today, we are 'taking it easy' on the homework this week...but there is still homework to complete. Please see below. Children who are unable to complete the homework (as they do not have their books) will need to complete the homework on Monday evening, or alternatively at homework support club.
SPELLING - Pg 6, 7, 8 & 9
GEOMETRY, MEASURES & STATISTICS - Pg 12, 13, 29 & 30.
Thanks, have a lovely weekend.
Mr Collins, Miss Gayton, Mrs Amos
As part of our topic work, rivers, we have designed, created and tested flood proof houses
This half term's topic has been classification. During this topic we explored classification of all living things, including the Linnaeus system of classification. To explore classification further, we created branching diagrams using sweets. Through this we were able to classify each sweet based on its characteristics.
Again, our Y6s worked well in small groups creating a gadget idea for Alex Rider (Stormbreaker). Then they tried their 'pitch' out on our two dragons - Agent Strahand and Dame Georgeson (both of whom have secret contacts with spy organisations, it seems....)
