Safeguarding information for children
If someone is hurting you, doing things to you against your will or being mean to you, tell someone! That someone could be your parents, your friends, trusted teachers or other staff at school. You should also speak to us if you are worried about someone else - a child or an adult.

At Ireland Wood, we have lots of staff who have special training to keep you safe. These people are Mr Blackburn, Mrs Green, Miss O'Connell, Mrs Price, Mrs Squire and Mrs Pollard. Of course, you don't have to speak to those members of staff; any adult in school should be able to help you. If you don't feel like approaching a member of staff, you can fill in a worry slip and a member of staff will come and find you.
