Here are a few pictures of the intrepid team who faced gorge walking today! Plus our final class shots before 6A left the building....
We are struggling to upload all the pics, so will do more tomorrow when back at school! here's a few to keep everyone entertained!
We've had a blast today! The weather was glorious, the walk very long and the dinner gorgeous....(hopefully they'll all sleep tonight!!)
As we have been reading 'Stormbreaker' this half term, part of our English work has been focused around creating a brand new, state-of-the-art spy gadget. In small teams, we have spent time preparing a pitch for our new gadget, and today we had the opportunity to present our gadgets and the prototypes to the fearsome dragons from each class! The ideas that the children had were absolutely fantastic. Three teams were successful in getting investment in 6C, whilst in 6A, there was a fierce bidding war as two dragons battled each other for the chance to work with one particularly impressive invention. Well done to all of our children.

Welcome back everyone. Things are really starting to pick up the pace in year 6, as we begin to prepare for our SATs. Our topic this half term is 'Where did all that water go?' We'll be thinking about the impact of floods and high river levels on the areas where we live, and how to try and prevent flooding from damaging people and their property in the future.
