Topic

Our Wonder this half term is....... Who is Mr Salt?
Our work will be based around the village of Saltaire. We will be visiting this world heritage site early next month.
Our Jewish visitor

Ruth, Eva's Grandma's friend, very kindly offered to come in to school and talk to us about her religion of Judaism. The children asked lots of excellent questions. They really enjoyed the talk and got to explore different items of interest.

Anti bullying week

We have done lots of exciting and valuable work this week around the topic. On Friday, Year 6 shared their comic strips with us in class. They talked to us about some important anti bullying messages.

Problem Solving

Each week in Year 3, we work together in Maths to solve problems. We use reasoning and problem solving skills and look for patterns and find all possible answers for one problem. We have to be resilient to succeed.

Saltaire visit October 2016

Year 3 spent a wonderful day in Saltaire. They looked around Salts Mill, visited Roberts Park, had lunch in Victoria Hall then went on a guided costume tour of the settlement.
