St. Leonard's Farm Visit (23.05.18)

We had a fantastic day at the farm today! Highlights were feeding the animals and the fun barn.

Hatch it! (23.04.18 - 04.05.18)

The eggs arrived in Reception on Monday. They had been incubating for 18 days in a special digital incubator that acts like a mother hen. On Wednesday, the eggs began to hatch and by the end of the day we had 8 chicks chirping away. We have been learning all about the life cycle of a hen and writing about it in our English missions. We have also been learning about animal families on the farm. Did you know a male duck is called a drake? And a baby goat is called a kid?
