Year 5 have been developing their DT skills this week by designing and making their own Anglo Saxon jewellery. They planned their designs carefully, based on artefacts, and created moulds our of clay, which we then poured plaster into. When they had dried, they painted them and used gems to decorate them. Don't they look fabulous?

Year 5 have had great fun this week trying to get their heads around the size of our solar system.

Year 5 had a great time discovering Anglo Saxon and Viking artefacts this week. We are excited to find out what we can learn from these items and are looking forward to our new topic.
